Without warning, a strange 200-foot-long spaceship rapidly appears 150 feet above the heads of David and the others. White bands swirl like smoke on an otherwise blue body. For a brief instant, the agents are mesmerized by the beautiful skin of the alien vehicle. Before they even have time to snap out of it, a gray funnel cloud resembling a tornado emerges from the bottom of the ship. Descending upon the sand, the slowly turning 11-foot-wide swirl quickly encircles David Ash's unconscious body. The dark gray outer part of the funnel's about 2 feet in thickness, while the inside's calm, leaving Dave unaffected. Thousands of thin strands of eighth-inch-thick multicolored lightning begin to whip back and forth within the cloud itself. The sight's incredibly beautiful, if not terrifying. Frantically pointing in the motionless Arn's direction, Train begins yelling to his men to grab David. Moving into the funnel to get him, a soldier instantly retreats, screaming in pain from intense burns all over his body. Overwhelmed by the intense visual display before him, Train hardly notices as he seems bewildered and incapable of action. The entity begins to slowly spin faster. It continues to accelerate its spiral movement as the lighting starts to become a blur of tremendous colors. While the funnel begins to turn at an incredible rate, David Ash's limp body begins to rise above the sand. Gaining speed, he's quickly thrust up toward the spaceship, which engulfs him. The cloud rapidly follows, rising up to the craft with tremendous speed and dissipates on its bottom surface. As Train and the others stand about with their mouths open wide in confusion, the spaceship disappears almost instantly.
